Scenic views from many rooms, beautifully maintained historical property, unique individual room layouts
Some rooms were smaller than I anticipated!!! The bathrooms felt cramped, making personal space a challenge!!! Poor soundproofing allowed too much noise from outside, impacting relaxation!!!

I stayed in a Single Room, and it was so charming with stylish decor that reminded me of a Wes Anderson movie. The bed was comfortable, and the room had a cool view of the water. There were nice little nooks to chill out in too. One thing though, the concrete floor felt a bit rough on my feet. But overall, the ambiance and the little details totally made up for it.

great amenities but confusing check-in process
The decor and amenities in the Double or Twin Room were impressive and unique. I particularly appreciated the lovely city view from my window, creating an inviting atmosphere. Additionally, the staff displayed warmth and professionalism throughout my stay, making me feel welcome.
However, finding the check-in point was a bit confusing.

Snaefell, Hotel By Aldan offers charming rooms and each has its unique style and character. I really enjoyed my Superior Triple Room, which was large, clean, and functional. The highlight of my stay was definitely the breakfast and restaurant. the quality of food and wine exceeded my expectations for Iceland! The whole experience was simply outstanding.
The service at check-in could have been warmer.

Charming stay with a breathtaking view!
We absolutely loved our room facing the water, complete with a strong shower and comfortable beds. There's plenty of space for our luggage, and the breakfast spread exceeded our expectations, even allowing us to take some extras along. However, it would have been nice to know earlier about the check-in process and the need to drive to the nearest town for dining options during winter.
